| Flight To Mars [48/127] Title: Flight To Mars Catalog Number: SF-095 Original: Digital Created: 2000 Caption: In the motion picture Flight to Mars depicting the first manned expedition to Mars, the rocketship Mars One crash-lands on the red planet after it passes through a meteorite shower and strands the crew there. Quite by accident, the astronauts locate an underground city inhabited by humanoids and together they rebuild the interplanetary craft for the return trip to earth. The 1950 "Mars One" was re-created using Strata Studio 2.5.3 computer graphic program. The above spaceship is based on the original Chesley Bonestell design. In the movie version the leading edge of the tall fins have a slight curve. The model's ribs where made with Illustrator and imported into Strata and skinned.
