Mars One
[43/123]
Title: Mars One
Catalog Number: SF-094
Original: Digital
Created: 2000
Caption: High above the Earth a sleek, streamlined nuclear powered rocketship called "Mars One" speeds through the stratosphere on it's way to Mars.
The rocketship Mars One is based on a preliminary, rejected concept by Chesley Bonestell for the Luna spaceship of Destination Moon. This well-traveled rocketship of the 1950's was used in Flight to Mars and Queen of Outer Space.
The 1950 "Mars One" was re-created using Strata Studio 2.5.3 computer graphic program. The model's ribs where made with Illustrator and imported into Strata and skinned. The streaks in the scene are made with Photoshop 5.0. Created by Edward Rowles in 2000 |
