The Marsmobile was originally designed by 1951 by Jack Coggins and Willy Ley. Spacemen enter and leave through an air locks in the rear of the vehicle. It's designed to accommodate two spacemen with enough fuel and supplies to explore for two weeks. In an emergency the Mars Jeep can hold up to six passengers. The mars Jeep runs on a closed-circuit engine, which is fueled by hydrogen peroxide and oil.
