| Rocketship M-X [64/144] Title: Rocketship M-X Catalog Number: SF-079 Caption: Traveling through space can be dangerous and unpredictable. In the 1950's movie Rocketship X-M the Bullet-shaped Rocketship Expedition Moon (RX-M, for short) was supposed to land on the Moon. The ship accelerates faster then expected, causing the whole crew to black-out under crushing G forces. When they finally wake up and looked out the space ports the ships orbiting Mars. After landing tail first the five-person crew cames upon the remains of a decayed Martian civilization and decides that this is the result of an atomic war. Later, some radiation-scarred mutants attacks the explorers and only three astronauts make it back to the craft. They take off and head for Earth, but lack of fuel causes them to crashland. The 1950 Rocketship X-M was re-created using Strata Studio Blitz 3d computer graphic program. The stars in the scene are made with Photoshop 3.0. and imported into into Strata as a backdrop.
