Crystal Contact
An Amazing Discovery on Edge of the Universe
B y . E d w a r d . R o w l e s . 1 9 9 8

Catalog Number: SF Image No.80

While exploring the edge of the universe in their sleek bullet-shaped interstellar rocketship a team of space men discover a strange silicon crystal lifeform. The Science Officer carefully extends his molecular probe toward the glowing crystal. The Communications Officer backing him up presses his computer keypad and starts to download the data. A radar man activates his suit's small palm thrusters to hover in the micro gravity of the asteroid. The crystal glows with cosmic energy. Thinking about the universe for a billion years, it has stored within it's atomic structure the answer to every question. The data will forever change the course of human history.

The original art is computer generated. The moonscape was made in Bryce 2.0, the spacemen are made in Fractal Design Poser, the spaceship in Ray Dream Studio 5 and all the parts assembled with Photoshop 5.0
